In fact, the World Record typical Mule Deer is from Dolores County Colorado. Montezuma & Dolores counties benefit from the San Juan National Forest, abundant farm lands, rivers, and streams. We hunt game units 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 711, and 741. We can also help you with your application for these hunts or we can provide you a landowner voucher for a fee. Please note that all mule deer hunts are by draw only and there are no over the counter tags for deer.
