Since 1981, John has lived and practiced law in the Vail Valley, focusing on real estate and land use transactions and litigation. John also has a strong background in local government law, having served as County Attorney of Lake County from 1971 until 1993 and as Town Attorney of the Town of Avon from 1980 until 1998 and from 2001 until 2008. He has been President of the Colorado County Attorneys’ Association and has chaired the Municipal Attorneys’ Section of the Colorado Municipal League. And, he is very proud to have served as President of the Colorado Bar Association in 1993-94.
